BSE Indexes Slip in First Day of Week

All four indexes of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange ended the first day of the week in negative territory. The SOFIX blue-chip index shed 1.30% to 350.53 points on the day.
The BG40 index of the most traded stocks declined by 1.21%, to 107.11 points as at the end of today's session. The BGTR30 indexes posted the biggest decline of the day slipping by 2.00%, to 263.94 points.
The BGREIT index of real estate investment trusts closed 0.43%, down at 48.14 points.
BSE's overall turnover came to nearly 7.2 mln leva on the day. The bond market accounted for 6.26 mln leva of the figure. The total value of the over-the-counter deals amounted to 6.04 mln leva as at 2:50 p.m.
A total of 78 issues were traded on the day with 18 of the companies posting stock price gains.
Synergon Holding was the only advancer on segment A of BSE's Official market today. The stock of the company appreciated by 0.63%, to 2.09 leva per share, while the traded volume on the position came to 375 shares.
Stara Planina Hold's market capitalization dropped by 8.11%, to 1.7 leva per share after 10 227 shares in the holding company changed hands on the day. Albena Invest Holding shed 7.75%, to 3.68 leva per share.
Bulgarian River Shipping was BSE's biggest decliner on BSE's Official market today. The stock of the company lost 16% of its value to 2.1 leva per share. The traded volume on the position came to 1,343 shares.
Lead & Zinc Complex was the biggest advancer on BSE's Official market closing 1.39% up at 7 leva per share.
Corporate Commercial Bank was the only lender to post an advance on the day. The stock of the bank appreciated by 0.71%, to 71 leva per share. Decliners included Central Cooperative Bank (-1.39%, to 1.06 leva), First Investment Bank (-2.98%, to 2.28 leva per share) and Bulgarian-American Credit Bank (-0.85%, to 11.65 leva per share).
Infrastructure companies were also among today's decliners. Moststroy shed 3.97%, to 3.14 leva per share, while Holding Roads skidded 3.05% lower to 2.86 leva per share.
Trace Group Hold's stock price remained unchanged at 37 leva per share.
