There will not be many corporate events on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) this week. The general shareholders' meeting of HBG Investment Property Fund REIT is scheduled for today.

The shareholders will put to vote a proposal for the allocation of the financial results of the REIT for 2008. The proposal envisages the 117,000 leva loss of the company for 2008 to allocated to Losses for previous years.

The final date for acquiring stock of HD Dunav, which will grant shareholders dividend rights, is just two days later.

The shareholders of HD Dunav surprisingly decided at a general meeting to distribute 26 leva gross dividend per share only a month after the dividend was envisaged to be 2 leva per share.

The company booked 7.043 mln leva profit for 2008.

Thursday is the last day on which the acquisition of shares in Bulgarian-American Credit Bank will allow participation in the forthcoming general shareholders' meeting of the lender.

The shareholders will put to vote a proposal envisaging the bank to obtain 50 mln euros funding from Allied Irish Bank, which owns 49.99% of BACB's stock. BACB's profit for 2008 in turn will be allocated to the Reserves fund.

SOFIX advanced by 3.85%, to 295.59 points last week, while BG40 gained 1.68%, to 88.72 points.
