M-Tel - part of the Telecom Austria Group - won a survey among consumers for best Bulgarian brand organized by independent international arbiter Superbrands for the second time, the company said Thursday. The ranking, which determines the best 500 Bulgarian and world brands, gives M-Tel as the strongest Bulgarian brand while Coca-Cola is the leader among global brands.

M-Tel, which has 5.4 million subscribers in Bulgaria, won the same distinction in 2006 and is the only Bulgarian brand in the latest survey among the first three in the global ranking after Coca-Cola and Google.

The brand evaluation and selection is made in two stages - a secret vote of Superbrands expert jury and national voting of consumers in Internet, in which more than 10,000 people participated this year.
