„The pessimism of the investors on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) and the influence of the foreign capital markets on local market remain in effect and I do not expect a market stir-up" Krassimira Dimitrova, broker at UBB, told Profit.bg.
The trading volumes will remain low and will hover around yesterday's values, according to Dimitrova.
„No positive news that could help trade pick up is coming from the USA, Europe and from the country," Dimitrova added.
The decline of the Bulgarian indexes deepened yesterday. The SOFIX blue-chip index shed 2.49%, to 290.57 points. The broader BG40 slipped by 0.91%, to 93.84 points.
BSE's overall turnover came to 2.24 mln leva. A total of 85 issues were traded on the day with 19% of the stocks posting stock price gains.
