Three of the four indexes of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) ended today's session with losses. The SOFIX blue-chip index shed 2.6% of its value, closing at 318.58 points. The broader BG40 slipped by 1.67%, to 99.19 points, while BG TR30 lost 3.73% to 235.14 points. BG REIT was the only gainer on the day advancing by 1.67%, to 45.56 points.

BSE's overall turnover came to nearly 3.4 mln leva, while the value of the over-the-counter deals exceeded 193 000 as at 2.30 p.m. A total of 85 issues were traded on the the day with 24 of them posting stock price gains.

Moody's rating agency slashed the outlook on the ratings of five Bulgarian banks last week, it emerged. The stock of First Investment Bank, which was one of the banks, depreciated by 11.67%, to 1.59 leva per share. The volume on the position came to 61,898 shares.

Bulgarian-American Credit bank's stock price went down by 2.76%, to 9.8 leva, after 1,024 shares traded hands.

A total of 1,203 shares in Central Cooperative Bank were transferred on the day, while the stock appreciated by 1.03% to 0.98 leva per share.

Corporate Commercial Bank's stock price remained unchanged at 65 leva per share.

The traded volume on the position of Industrial Holding Bulgaria amounted to 17,551 shares. The stock depreciated by 10.07%, to 1.25 leva per share. Stara Planina Hold's stock price went down by 8.28%, to 1.28 leva per share.

Neochim lost 3.53%, to 32.8 leva per share, while Toplivo's stock shed 8%, to 4.6 leva per share. The traded volume on the position came to 17,030 shares.

Sell-offs on the position of Eurohold Bulgaria continued today. The stock depreciated by 3.8%, to 1.09 leva per share. Chimimport shed 3.55%, closing at 1.9 leva per share.

Lead & Zinc Complex's stock price dropped to under 7 leva per share. The last deal for the day was sealed at a price of 6.6 leva per share, down 5.7% compared to the opening price.

Sparky Eltos' stock lost 11.76% ot its value, to 1.5 leva per share. The traded volume on the position came to 3,938 shares. Sparky Group plans to invest 59 mln leva and 20 mln leva through its subsidiaries Sparky and Sparky Eltos in the period 2009-2011, regardless of the financial and economic crisis.

Some of today's advancers included Monbat (+5.43%, to 4.62 leva), Orgachim (+1.92%, to 79.5 leva) and Doverie United Holding (+2.17%, to 4.7 leva).
