Bulgarian Stocks Post Solid Gains on Monday

Most indexes of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) got off to a positive start of the week. The SOFIX blue-chip index advanced by 1.50%, to 377.44 points on Monday, while the BG 40 gained 0.46%, to 119.47 points.
BG TR30 also ended the day on positive territory closing the day up 0.83%, at 319.29 points. BG REIT was the only decliner on the day slipping by 0.37% to 45.88 points.
BSE's overall turnover exceeded 618,000 leva on Monday. A total of 74 issues were traded on the day with 39 of the companies posting stock price gains.
Investors were buying First Investment Bank (FIBank) shares on the day. As a result the stock of the company appreciated by nearly 11% to 2.44 leva per share. A total of 29,708 shares traded hands on the position.
The traded volume on the position of Central Cooperative Bank (CCB) came to 101,305 shares. The stock of the bank added 4.36% to its value closing at 1.22 leva per share.
Unlike these two Corporate Commercial Bank (KTB) and Bulgarian-American Credit Bank (BACB) posted losses on the day. KTB slipped by 0.77% to 64 leva, while BACB shed 3.12%, to 9.3 leva per share. The traded volume on the position of BACB amounted to 11,280 shares.
Aroma's stock price went up by 19.48% to 0.92 leva on the day. A total of 7,574 shares in the company traded hands.
Druzhba Staklarski Zavodi was also among Monday's biggest gainers. The stock of the company appreciated by 14.29% to 4.00 leva.
Stara Planina Hold closed 4.28% up at 3.191 leva per share, while Trace Group Hold advanced by 2.75% to 71.1 leva.
Bulgarian Telecommunications Company stock price jumped by 35% to 5.40 leva. A total of 1,250 shares in the company changed hands.
