Prime minister Boyko Borissov lost his bet with the stock market. On Sunday he predicted the market will gain 10% after his decision on the nationalization of pension funds.

However SOFIX only gained 1.87% on Monday.

The importing thing is that BSE started November on positive turf.

SOFIX gained 1.87% to 361.21 points, BG40 added 1.47% to 112.85 points, BGREIT rose 0.26% to 42.10 points and BGTR30 gained 1.63% to 289.60 points.

Even though indexes rose, turnovers remained low. Total daily turnover stood at a little below 351 000 leva. 66 stocks were traded on Monday, 39 of them posting gains.

Bulgartabak Holding shares continue to rise, adding 4.25% and closing at 24.999 leva.

Eurohold Bulgaria jumped 7.60% to 0.935 leva.

EMKA gained 5.10% to 3.30 leva at a turnover of 200 shares.

The following also posted gains with modest traded volumes: Industrial Holding Bulgaria (+4.05%, 1.181 leva), Albena Invest Holding (+2.50%, 6.15 leva) and Stara Planina Hold (+3.52%, 2.50 leva).

Odessos Ship Repair Yard gained 4.12% and closed at 99.95 leva.
