Yet another negative week has come to an end for the major indexes of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) which are yet to post a weekly gain in July.

Three of the indexes closed Friday's session lower: SOFIX (-0.87%, to 361.72 points), BG 40 (-0.58%, to 103.71 points) and BG TR30 (-0.44%, to 275.61 points). BG REIT remained flat on the day.

BSE's overall turnover came close to 350,000 leva. A total of 46 issues were traded on the day with 12 of the stocks posting price gains.

The weekly performance of the indexes is as follows: SOFIX (-0.38%), BG 40 (-1.60%), BG REIT (+0.99%) and BG TR30 (-0.76%).

SOFIX has lost 3.03% of its value in July, while BG 40 is down 2.52% and BG TR 30 has shed 3.00%. BG REIT is the only gainer this month advancing by 0.93%.

The year-to-date performance of the indexes is as follows: SOFIX (-15.34%), BG 40 (-11.48%), BG REIT (-19.00%) and BG TR30 (-17.69%).
