BSE Indexes Post Third Gain in Last Four Sessions

The main indexes of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) posted today their third gain in the last four trading sessions. The SOFIX blue-chip index advanced by 3%, to 344.49 points, while the broader BG40 closed 0.90% higher at 101.24 points.
Petrol accounted for a total of 57% of BSE's overall turnover on the day. A total of 1.9 mln shares in the company changed hands at a price of 11.55 leva apiece.
Many of the blue chips were also actively traded on the day. The traded volume on the position of Monbat came to 26,000 leva, while the price of the stock ranged between 4.00 and 4.16 leva per share. A total of 38,000 shares in Chimimport also changed hands today at prices ranging between 1.88 and 2.07 leva per share. Monbat's stock price advanced by 3.38%, while Chimimport stock appreciated by 8.44%.
Holding Roads jumped by more than 16%, to 3.25 leva per share. The stock of the company was transferred to a higher segment as of today - segment B of BSE's Official market.
Banking stocks also ended today's session higher. Central Cooperative Bank advanced by 13.33%, to 0.95 leva per share, while First Investment Bank and Corporate Commercial Bank closed 8.63 and 3.50% higher at 2.77 leva and 68.00 leva per share, respectively.
Enenmona's stock appreciated by 12.64%, to 5.80 leva per share, while Zarneni Hrani Bulgaria gained nearly 20%, to 0.72 leva per share.
Some of today's decliners included Synergon Holding and Albena Invest Holding, which lost 10.42 and 8.78%, to 2.15 and 4.50 leva per share, respectively. Odessos Ship Repair Yard skidded nearly 5% lower, to 108.50 leva per share.
