80% of Stocks in BG40 End May Higher

32 (80%) of the 40 stocks within the broad BG40 index closed higher at the end of May.

Elana Agricultural Opportunity REIT stayed unchanged, 7 companies declined.

Moststroy was the biggest gainer in May, adding 46.02%, while Chimimport and Zarneni Hrani Bulgaria climbed 30.51% and 27.25% respectively.

Holding Varna A appreciated by more than 20% reaching 34.16 leva/share, while Eurohold Bulgaria and Industrial Capital Holding gained 18%. Balgarska Roza Sevtopolis, Stara Planina Hold and Synergon Holding added more than 10% each.

Severcoop Gamza Holding lost 5.16% in May, while Devin and Kaolin fell by 3%. The list of decliners also includes Aroma, Sparky Eltos, Orgachim and Industrial Holding Bulgaria.

SOFIX added 1.28% in May to 1260 points, and BG40 climbed 0.42% to 350.04 points.
