The combined assets of Bulgarian collective investment schemes totaled 759.414 million leva (388.28 million euro) as at the end of February 2008, Profit.bg data show. The figure stood at 734.995 million leva (375.79 million euro) a month earlier.

The combined assets of mutual funds amounted to 890 million leva (455.05 million euro) as at the end of 2007.

DSK Growth and Capman Max were the only mutual funds to each have over 50 million leva (25.56 million euro) assets as at the end of February 2008. Advance Invest, Raiffeisen (Bulgaria) Balanced Fund, Raiffeisen (Bulgaria) Shares Fund and DSK Balance managed over 40 million leva (20.45 million euro) assets each as at the end of last month.

The assets of a total of 26 Bulgarian collective investment schemes exceed 10 million leva (5.11 million euro), statistics shows.

Several new funds were launched since the beginning of 2008. These include BenchMark Fund-4 Energy, Avrora Capital – Global Commodity Fund, Avrora Capital – Balanced, FIB Avangard, FIB Classic. FIB Garant, Zagora Finacorp Balanced Fund, Elana Dollar Fund and Raiffeisen (Bulgaria) Balanced Dollar Fund.
