The major indexes of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) extended their weekly decline into this week's first session.

The SOFIX blue-chip index shed 2.63%, to 478.30 points. The broader BG40 lost 1.37% to 131.87 points.

BGTR30 ended the day 2.04% down at 360.43 points. BGREIT, which was the only index to post a weekly advance last week, shed 1.81% on the day closing at 47.79 points.

BSE's overall turnover came to 3.57 mln leva. The bond market accounted for nearly 310,000 leva of the total. The value of the over-the-counter trades exceeded 603,000 leva as at 3:00 p.m.

A total of 87 issues were traded on the day with 25 of the companies posting stock price gains.

Stara Planina Hold was the biggest decliner on segment A of BSE's Official market. Thye stock of the company depreciated by 7.47% to 1.88 leva per share. A total of 2,270 shares in the company changed hands on the day.

Synergon Holding and Industrial Holding Bulgaria shed 3.20 and 3.14%, ending today's session at 2.42 leva and 2.13 leva per share, respectively.

A total of 341,343 common shares in Chimimport changed hands on the day. The stock depreciated by 2.50% to 2.53 leva apiece. The company's preferred shares shed 2.49% to 2.51 leva apiece after 315,469 shares traded.

Only one of the actively traded banks ended today's session in positive territory. A total of 183,000 shares in Central Cooperative Bank were traded. The stock depreciated by 3.12% to 1.55 leva per share. Other decliners on the day included First Investment Bank (-5.82%, to 3.01 leva) and Bulgarian-American Credit Bank (-2.50%, to 19.50 leva). Corporate Commercial Bank was the only gainer on the day advancing by 0.24% to 56.00 leva.

Infrastructure stocks ended the day lower. Holding Roads was the biggest decliner slipping by 4.21% to 3.59 leva per share. The traded volume on the position amounted to 16 400 shares.

Moststroy and Trace Group Hold ended the day 3.66% and 2.44% lower at 5.00 leva and 79.02 leva per share, respectively.

Todorov's stock depreciated by over 30% today to 0.45 leva pr share, after only 500 shares traded.

Other decliners on the day included Bulgarska-Roza Sevtopolis (-5.4%, to 1.4 leva) and Sopharma (-1.7%, to 4.1 leva).
