BSE Indexes Post Declines in First Day of Week

All four indexes of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) posted declines in the first day of the week. The SOFIX blue-chip index shed 1.79%, to 354.81 points, while the broader BG40 slipped by 0.74%, to 101.72 points. Decliners on the day also included BG REIT (-0.03%, to 39.59 points) and BG TR30 (-1.17%, to 266.79 points).
BSE's overall turnover came to 10.09 mln leva. The Unofficial bond market accounted for 3.83 mln leva of the figure, while the market of Undertakings in collective investments in transferable securities (UCITS) made for 5.52 mln leva. A total of 138 000 units in Mutual Fund CCB Active traded hands on the day, as well as 164,500 units in Mutual Fund CCB Leader and 5.17 mln units in Mutual Fund Real Finance High-Yield Fund. The value of the over-the-counter deals came to 1.2 mln leva as at 2.40 p.m.
A total of 12,989 shares in Bulgarska Roza-Sevtopolis traded hands on the day. The stock depreciated by 2.54%, to 0.73 leva per share.
Banking stocks also ended today's session lower. Central Cooperative Bank's stock price went down by 3.08%, to 1.26 leva per share, while First Investment Bank slipped by 2.27%, to 2.15 leva per share. Bulgarian-American Credit Bank shed 3.20%, to 12.10 leva per share.
Chimimport's stock also got off to a poor start to the week. The stock depreciated by 2.03% to 2.13 leva per share.
Infrastructure stocks declined as follows Holding Roads (-4.56%, to 2.70 leva per share), Moststroy (-4.99%, 4.40 leva) and Trace Group Hold (-0.14%, to 48.01 leva).
Eurohold Bulgaria's stock price went down by 3.12%, to 1.12 leva per share. The traded volume on the position came to 5,625 shares.
