The Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) got off to a mixed start to the week. The positive impetus in the early session did not continue until the end of the day. The SOFIX blue-chip index slipped by 0.51%, to 359.46 points. The broader BG40 skidded 0.43% lower, to 106.54 points.

BG REIT and BG TR30 advanced on the day. BG REIT closed 4.17% higher at 47.51 points, while BG TR30 gained 0.42%, to 275.39 points.

BSE's overall turnover totaled 4.37 mln leva. A total of 84 issues were traded on the day with 34 of the companies posting stock price gains. The value of the over-the-counter deals amounted to nearly 130,000 leva as at 2:20 p.m.

The stocks of three of the four holding companies listed on segment A of BSE's Official market posted gains - Industrial Holding Bulgaria (0.63%, to 1.6 leva per share), Stara Planina Hold (+3.73%, to 1.92 leva per share) and Synergon Holding (+1.23%, to 2.06 leva per share).

Sopharma, Orgachim and Lead & Zinc Complex also posted gains on the day. Sopharma's stock appreciated by 2.23%, to 2.25 leva per share. The traded volume on the position amounted to 51,946 shares. Orgachim advanced by 2.47%, to 83 leva per share, while Lead & Zinc Complex gained 0.74%, to 6.85 leva per share.

Change in banking stock prices was as follows: Central Cooperative Bank (unchanged at 1.1 leva per share), First Investment Bank (+1.12%, to 2.7 leva per share), Corporate Commercial Bank (+0.08%, to 65.15 leva per share) and Bulgarian American Credit Bank (+0.83%, to 12.2 leva per share).

Trace Group Hold was the only gainer among infrastructure companies. The stock of the company appreciated by 3.18%, to 39 leva per share. Holding Roads stock price remained unchanged at 3.24 leva per share. Moststroy shed 3.23%, to 3.65 leva per share.

Billboard ended the day 4.38% higher at 3.1 leva per share. Etropal's stock surged by 7.12%, to 3.16 leva per share.

Asenova Krepost's stock depreciated steeply on the day. A total of shares in the company traded hands, while the stock price slumped by 64.85%, to 7.03 leva per share. The shares were transferred in two deals.
