Today's advance of the broader BG40 index of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) may be put down mainly to the shares of First Investment Bank (FIBank), Odessos Shiprepair Yard and Chimimport. The BG40 is up 0.67%, to 141.51 points, while the SOFIX blue-chip index loses 0.32%, to 470.52 points.

First Investment Bank's stock gained 2.37% in early trade to 3.84 leva per share. The bank is more conservative than before, the executive director of the bank Maya Georgieva said in an interview for Profit.bg yesterday.

„The decline in the price of the stock does not reflcet the condition of the bank. Long-term investors will wait. The question is who is going to win in this situation and may be the winners will be the investors who will by the stock low," Georgieva said.

Odessos Shiprepair Yard's stock appreciated by more than 8% to 158.55 leva per share in thin volume trade.

Chimimport advanced by 1%, to 2.92 leva per share, while М+S Hydraulic's stock price went up by more than 11% to 5.56 leva per share.

Some of the today's decliners so far include Industrial Holding Bulgaria and Doverie United Holding which lost 1.89% and 3.33%, to 2.60 and 7.25 leva per share, respectively. Toplivo slipped by over 4%, to 7.70 leva per share.

The value of the deals sealed in the early session amounts to 500,000 leva.
